The Person Identity domain manages data about individual people, collections of people, organizational units and the inter-entity relationships. The domain also manages the communications between people, groups of people and organizations. Unlike the other application domains, Person Identity acts as a collection of common functionality that is referenced in each of the other domains.
Kuali Student is working with the Kuali Identity Management (KIM) development team in the PI arena. KIM is a new Kuali Rice component that concentrates on providing a cohesive set of identity management services for consistent re-use across the other Kuali Rice components in addition to the Kuali applications. As such, we are exploring mutual goals/needs that might be met through this partnership.
